Science of Gaydar

Interesting factoid from this article in newyork magazine. Gay men are more likely than straight men to have a counterclockwise hair whorl. Their's also other factors like finger prints and relative finger lengths. I didn't actually read the article, but the pictures are interesting.

Ooh what you say.

I saw the skit not knowing it was a spoof (because I do not watch The O.C.) and still found it hilarious. Only a few minutes ago did I watch the actual clip it was based on.

The source of the spoof:

Huge X-games fall

Maybe everyone has seen this, but if not you'll be amazed. It turns out the guy is more or less okay.

Gilbert Arena's does not believe in shark attacks

Excerpt from his blog (http://www.nba.com/blog/gilbert_arenas.html). I cannot believe this is real.

There Are No Such Thing as Shark Attacks
I know this is random, but I just want to clear this up for people out there.

There are these things called shark attacks, but there is no such thing as a shark attack. I have never seen a real shark attack.

I know you’re making a weird face as you’re reading this. OK people, a shark attack is not what we see on TV and what people portray it as.

We’re humans. We live on land.

Sharks live in water.

So if you’re swimming in the water and a shark bites you, that’s called trespassing. That is called trespassing. That is not a shark attack.

A shark attack is if you’re chilling at home, sitting on your couch, and a shark comes in and bites you; now that’s a shark attack. Now, if you’re chilling in the water, that is called invasion of space. So I have never heard of a shark attack.

When I see on the news where it’s like, “There have been 10 shark attacks,” I’m like, “Hey, for real?! They’re just running around? Sharks are walking now, huh! We live on the land, we don’t live underwater.”

Best waste of time yet

This is what I use to waste time. (http://www.stumbleupon.com/) This is their website, they have an add-on for firefox.

Basically people all over the world bookmark any webpage they find interesting and everytime you select the "stumble" button it takes you to a random one. So if you ever run out of websites to visit, all you have to do is use this add-on.

You will start wasting all sorts of time with this thing.
